Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US. Here's a link to this great service Good luck!I don't have the wiring diagram, but here is how it is wired, the large red lead bolts to the insulated stud on the back of the alternator, the other 2 smaller wires are to the "D" connector, go to a good parts store like NAPA or CAR QUEST and ask for a repair connector for your alternator, it will be a stub connector with 2 wires in it, just s plice it to the old wires and plug it in, one wire is bigger than the other so it's hard to screw that up. Any further questions just post a new message. Go to it and lets drive!0Auto Zone has some wiring diagrams free on-line. The link below should take you to the wiring diagram page for your truck, however, you may have to sign up on the Auto Zone site but its all free. http://wwwzone/autozone/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent?chapterTitle=Wiring+Diagrams&partName=Chassis+Electrical&pageId=0900c1528004bb9d&partId=0900c1528004ba7d
Another good web site, but you have to pay for your vehicle subscription, is WWWata .
The cost is around $30 and subscription lasts for a year. You will have much more information on that site.
Regards,0I suggest checking out the autozone website and register the vehicle. It doesn't cost anything and will give you access to an online repair manual. The steps for replacing the alternator should be available there. Hope this helped and best wishes.0Hello! Which engine do you have? I will enclose belt routing for all possibilities.
