Aug 08, 2011On my 2004 Ford Ranger 3.0, the manual transmission is sometimes hard to get into gear and sometimes out of gear. This problem seems to be worse when the vehicle is stopped. For instance, if I roll up to a red light and shift into neutral, it is very difficult to get into first gear when the light changes. I sometimes have to force it into gear.Status: Open
