Remove the two upper screws on the glove box and carefully pry metal clips loose.
Disconnect glove box lamp electrical connector. Do not let glove box assembly hang from glove box lamp harness.
Remove three lower screws and remove damper clip from glove box door. Separate glove box housing and passenger instrument lower panel.
Remove three screws and remove in cabin micro filter cover.
Remove in cabin micro filters from front heater and cooling unit assembly.
Note When installing two new in cabin micro filters ensure that the filters are facing in the direction indicated by the direction arrow for the airflow. Direction arrow is printed on side of in cabin micro filters.
Install in cabin micro filter cover. Reinstall glove box.2It should be somewhere inline with your fuel lines that come from the gas tank. Find the tubes that come out of the tank underneath the car, and follow them along the body all the way to the engine. Somewhere inline there should be a filter. You might need a special tool to get it off though.1The oil filter is located behind the right (passenger) inner fender cover. It is right next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the front of the engine facing toward the right front wheel. I do not have a picture at this time.

) Loosen the gas cap on the gas tank to release any gas pressure.
) Cover the battery with a plastic cover or bag.
) Loosen the clamps on the lower and upper pipes on the fuel filter.
) Put on rubber gloves and safety glasses. ( You do not was gasoline on you ).
) You need to placed container underneath the filter to catch any gasoline.
) You can take a pair of slip-joint or channel lock plyers and work off the top hose. Twist back and forth. You may need a regular screwdriver to pry with. This is harder than it looks but it can be done . Be sure to keep the filter upright before the hose come off. IT HAS GASOLINE IN IT!. ) With the top hose off , Tilt the filter over to drain any gasoline into the catch container.
) Cover the filter with a plastic bag and remove the bottom hose. You have now completed the hardest part of replacing the filter!
) Install the new filter and bottom hose. It will go on easy.
) Install the top hose.
) Tighten the bottom and top clamps . After the trouble you had taking the hoses off you will notice you do not need to over tighten them !
