Aug 24, 2011Where is the fuel filter located on a 1997 Honda Civic 1.6? where is the fuel filter on a 96 civic awd 1.6 ltr. Mine is located on the firewall with both in and out lines on top of filter but parts store keep saying it's one with one on bottom and top. (97 honda civic ex engine is a 1.6 single overhead v tec(D16Y8). First start up car

but if you are talking about the fuel filter, it's located at the end of the fuel rail which attach the fuel injectors.
