Aug 15, 2010My particular challenge is to replace the wiring system the former, "owner and spaghetti - pack-rat", left behind! What a mess. The boat is an 18', 1975 Arrow Glass Tri-Hull, with a 1973 85HP Johnson. She is in real fine shape for her age, and worthy of the attention to a new day on the lake.

Jul 03, 2012Ok, got it figured out. You can keep the orange and red wires on the switch the same, matter of fact the wires on the switch are all ok, it's just where they get hooked on the other end. Your blue wire on the C plug that has power is no longer used. The blue wire on the solenoid coming from the switch goes away, not where it should be.
