Focus Confirmation is a standard feature of Canon cameras, works in One Shot mode, as well as Manual.. so long as the camera was set to One Shot mode before switching the lens to manual or installing a manual focus only lens. It will even work with vintage, adapted lenses, so long as the adapter is the "chipped" type.
