An auto-reverser is the simplest way to wire a wye track on a DCC powered layout. But it's also rather spendy. If you're using a Tortoise (or other switch machine with DPDT contacts available) to throw the turnout, turnout C and the tail track can be wired to use the switch machine contacts to reverse polarity.

Sep 29, 2014To clarify for Randy, when I wired the Wye as per franks schematic once a loco was on the stub track and the points were thrown back to the mainline, in essence electrically cutting off the Wye, I lost the ability to control the loco on the Wye.
