Jul 23, 2015Using quick clips on the harness was a mistake as you noted, but if you did a good repair, it should be okay. The back side of the seven pin plug is usually the problem child. Jul 03, 2013FWIW all 2013 Flex wiring is complete front to back, even the brake controller, only thing missing when the tow package is not installed is the rear harness. Jan 06, 2011If you have a circuit tester, check the trailer connector first. One step at a time, you can narrow down the problem. Clip the ground of the circuit tester onto the ground pin on the trailer connector and test each pin for proper function. If it doesn't work, check fuses, relays and wiring. Look for pinches, frays or burns on the wires.
