Using Manual Lenses With the Fuji X System – Roy Cruz Photo
AdaptersCamerasSettingsShooting ExperienceConclusionThere is a wide range of adapters available on the market. Again, I will focus mainly on M42 lenses, which I have the most experience with. You can search Google for other kinds of lens adapters. Some I commonly see around are Fotasy (cheapest), K & F Concept, Fotodiox, Kipon (mid-range), and the more specialized (and expensive) Zhongyi Lens Turbo and Metabones Speed Booster. The latter two adapters mentioned have special optics inside that effectively make your camera perform like a full fra..See more on roycruz
X-Pro2 vs X-T2, with adapted manual focus lenses. | Fuji X
Nov 19, 2016I compared manual focus on both cameras with the Fuji 18-55 and did not find significant differences between the cameras manual focusing abilities using this lens. In summary, for me the X-Pro2 will be a better camera for use with adapted manual focus lenses, both in helping me see better for critical focus and in allowing me to use theseX-T3 vs X-H1 for adapted manual focus lenses | Fuji X ForumJan 09, 2019Manual lens for street photography | Fuji X ForumAug 31, 2018X-Pro1 & lenses | Fuji X ForumNov 24, 2017X-Pro1 manual focus legacy lenses ? | Fuji X ForumJan 03, 2016See more results
Fuji Xpro1 with manual legacy lens review - INSPIRED EYE
– No focus peaking – Hard to manual focus with EVF [Verdict] The Fuji Xpro with manual focus lenses was not a good experience. But pop in the X mount lenses and this is a little beast. Get it if you are comfortable bracketing your focus, zone focusing or focusing with a zoomed in image if you are planing on using manual lenses on it.
The Case for Improving Your Photography with Manual Focus
Jun 29, 2017Sure, the main case for using old manual focus lenses is a budgetary one, but there are plenty of modern manual focus lenses out there that you can get that won’t break the bank. Mitakon, Rokinon/Samyang make some great modern manual focus lenses, many of which you can use without an adapter because they are native X mount lenses.

Flickr: Discussing Manual focus & adapted lenses on the X
Mar 25, 2012Arkku says: . Hi, I've been using adapted manual focus lenses on my DSLR almost exclusively for several years, and I've never before used an EVF-only interchangeable lens camera, so I was a bit worried about the X-Pro1's suitability for manual focus.
Fuji X-Pro1 Review - Autofocus Performance (Page 3 of 9)
X-Pro1 + Touit 1.8/32 @ 32mm, ISO 200, 1/160, f/4.0. Focus peaking during manual focus operation was added in firmware 2, which is certainly a welcome addition. I used it quite a bit while testing lenses and I loved being able to see focus precision while zooming in.
Fuji X-Pro1 Review - Ken Rockwell
The Fuji X-Pro1 is an amazing one-of-a-kind camera. It has image quality and lenses more like my LEICA M9 than any DSLR, and it's smaller and lighter than any DSLR — or LEICA. The X-Pro1 does what the LEICA M9 does well, even better than the M9 does it! The X-Pro1
