Sep 27, 2008When I turned it off it started clicking and my door thingy was dinging. My key was NOT in the switch. My husband pulled relay #13 out of the fuse box under the dash. Everything stopped then. It was burnt. we bought a new one but when we put it in it started clicking as well. With it dark and raining we couldn't fool with it very long.

Rapid Clicking Sound From Fuse/relay Box - 2CarPros
Removing the low/hi beam relays stops the clicking. The battery seems to drain due to this. The battery is a 3yr old Interstate which has been problem free until now. Could getting the interior totally soaked have made something in the car short out? Will air drying eventually fix this problem or do I have bad relays? Any help is appreciated!

Aug 21, 2013My 2000 dodge intrepid won't start. Long story short my battery, starter, and alternator are good. I noticed a clicking in the fuse/relay box. I checked my fuses and I had a blown inj/coil fuse. Then I tested all the fuses and they were good. I checked my relay housing and there was a click near the relays. I tested them with a probador. Oct 28, 2011I do a quick check to see if I left lights on or something and the battery died, and everything is legit. Suddenly, there is a loud clicking noise about every 3 seconds from the fuse panel under the steering wheel. I tinker with it, remove a relay, and it stops. I put it back in, and it begins clicking again, about 3 times per second, steadily.
