GM EGR WIRING
Part 1 -How To Test the GM EGR Valve -Buick, Chevy, Olds
Oct 20, 2009The connector on the EGR valve has 5 wires and normally the letters A thru' E are stamped on the EGR valve itself (but not always). I'll be using these same letters in all of the photos in the image viewer so that you'll know what wire to test.Author: Abraham Torres-Arredondo

Jul 25, 2012I need the wiring diagram for the EGR valve on a Chevrolet Impala 2000 3 V6 I have to replace the harness and need to - Answered by a verified Chevy Mechanic5/5Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help get your problem resolved. Here is a connector diagram to show where each wire goes in connector. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help, thanks. http://db/CquB8QQwYes it would, let me know how it goes or if you run into questions. Thanks.Sounds good, thanks.Does it run better with egr unplugged?Did it run rough with egr code, so you replaced egr to fix problem but its the same?Does it act like it has a rpm limiter such as will not rev over 3000 rpm? This most likely means your catalytic converter is clogged which forces egr open since exhaust has no where else to go then the egr stuck open code sets. Remove front oxygen sensor to see if it runs better if so replace the converter, let me know if you have any questions. thanks. No, it will need to be replaced. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks.
