Jun 03, 2016I have a 2007 Honda Accord with a 6-speed manual transmission it has been driven awhile and warmed up, if I depress the clutch pedal and hold it for awhile, such as at a long stoplight, it intermittently will come out slow in 1st with a late friction point and, when I shift into second, the pedal is hard and it has an early friction point.good afternoon my name is ***** ***** I will assist it does sound like something in the clutch. from your description, it sounds like a pressure plate. one of the springs may be bad. have you had this checked??? Royok, thanks the clutch is about 250 for the kit the flywheel is 202 labor is about 6 -7 hours. I would budget about 1100 for the job. some of the aftermarket shops offer specials for about 799 but that is without the flywheel. that is what jumps the cost up. Royyes, I agree.
