Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US. Here's a link to this great service Good luck!I have the same mower and same problem. (I have already spent over $75 replacing the burned switch annually. ) The black wires carry the power. The orange wire is the common. The red and white wires are used to stop the motor quickly when the switch is released. To bypass the switch, connect the two black wires together with a wire nut. Disconnect and tape off the red and white wires. Now the mower will run whenever it is plugged in. It will take a few seconds longer for the blades to stop turning when unplugged. See this thread for a detailed discussion of the switch wiring. There is a picture of it near the bottom: http://wwwidforum/forum/showthread?t=8535 If plugging and unplugging gets too annoying, I may look for a plug-in switch I can plug between the extension cord and the mower plug. Until then, happy mowing!0check on or around the cutting deck [where belt is found]; most mowers have the belt layout stamped on the metal.. if not than possibly a sticker [since this is a standard user function].0As wild guess if you think it went to a sensor it could have been a solenoid in the float bowl. This unit would shut off the gas to the engine when it was shut off. Many of those failed and many people used to eliminate them. This maybe what someone has done it runs without putting the wire on it you may be ok.0Try putting a jumper wire on the wire going from the engine to the seat. Take that plug and put a wire from one side to the other. Be careful not to cut your feet off when engaging deck.0This should help. Dwain0
