Apr 27, 2011Hi all, I have a problem with my 2001, 1, petrol Freelander, manual transmission, mileage 53K, clutch and selector fork changed 10K ago. When the engine and gearbox are cold, gear selection including reverse is easy and smooth but after 20-30 miles it is difficult to select 1st and 2nd and reverse can only be engaged with a crunch. 3rd, 4th and 5th appear relatively easy to engage.
