I have Aspire 5750 i5 8GB RAM + SSD. Everything fine till it turned itself off a few days ago with a smell of burning. Nothing obvious that I could see. I now think the RAM was fried as it will not work in the new machine. I have aquired an Acer Aspire 5750 with i3 and 2GB RAM. I have installed my SSD and new 8GB RAM with no problems. My
