Feb 17, 2017In my other cars owner manuals listed only manual oil viscosity and required GL, so I could replace it with Mobil 1 or whatever synthetic oil I wanted. Mar 19, 2008Typically, the gear lube doesn't need to be replaced, unless maybe at 100k. I would have to double check the service manual. But the transmission is sealed and doesn't require changing the fluid as you would expect. If you do want to, there are two ports of the left side of the transmission. The bottom one for draining, the top one for filling.
