Elm Class is a mixed age class, with children from Reception and Year 1. Our outdoor environment means we can use it all year round due to a full length canopy. It also has an area with artificial grass and space for bike riding.

Mixed Reception/Year 1 must be hard as a teacher as you are straddling the EYFS and Key Stage One but ds's teacher made a brilliant job of it. I think the year 1s did different work for homework and during group times and at other times they all worked together.
