Mar 16, 2010Unfortunately not. BS5486 is more to do with type testing of the enclosure and associated equipment. This has now been superseded by BS EN 60439-3-1991. Oct 04, 2004Ring this number - 01543455000 and ask for Wylex technical support. They are very helpfull and should answer your question. Obviously if there is a model number on the board (doubt it), it would make there job easier.

May 25, 2005All rewireable fuses were BS 3036, big ones, small ones any size you like ones, MEM ones, Wylex ones and the list went on and on and on.. it has a bit of wire it was 'rewireable', available up to 100A.

Jun 04, 2019think you are correct at 60A for the bs 5419 wylex switch. the 100A DNO fuse is there to protect their equipment, irrespective of the customer's installation. it would be difficult to load a 4 way board above 60A . there's only 4 circuits, usually 2 x 30A, 1 x 15A, 1 x 5A. at worst, that would be a total load of around 40A allowing..
